DETAILED TRIP ITINERARY:
Day 1: Arrive at JRO –Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where our staff will warmly welcome you. Transfer to Arusha for an overnight stay at a hotel, booked on a bed and breakfast basis (BB).
Day 2: Tarangire National Park:
After breakfast, depart at 0800hrs for Tarangire National Park, arriving at the lodge in time for lunch. At 1500hrs, embark on an afternoon game drive to spot lions, elephants, Lesser kudu, eland, gerenuk, and the elusive tree-climbing python. The park is dotted with Baobab trees. Leave the park at 1600hrs and drive to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Makuyuni NGORONGORO CRATER - Central Serengeti National Park.
After an early breakfast, depart at 0600hrs for Ngorongoro with a picnic lunch. Descend into the Crater floor for morning and afternoon game drives. The Crater is home to the Big Five—rhino, lion, leopard, buffalo, and elephant—as well as zebra, hippo, wildebeest, hyena, and more. Birdlife includes flamingos on the soda lake, geese, storks, vultures, and others. Enjoy your picnic lunch at Ngoitoktok swamp, a hippo pool. After lunch, continue game viewing before ascending the Crater and departing for Serengeti National Park, with game drives along the way.
The Serengeti is renowned as one of the world's most famous wildlife sanctuaries. Spanning 15,000 square kilometers, it hosts 3 million large mammals. The park is home to over 35 species of plains animals, including zebra, wildebeest, eland, and giraffe, as well as the Big Five: elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard, and rhino. It also serves as the stage for the annual wildebeest migration, where over a million wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles head to the Maasai Mara in Kenya around June, followed closely by predators such as lions, cheetahs, wild dogs, jackals, hyenas, and vultures. The Serengeti boasts over 500 species of birds. You will have dinner and an overnight stay at a lodge or camp, booked on a full board basis (FB).
Day 4: Full day Central Serengeti
After breakfast, spend the entire day viewing wildlife in the central part of Serengeti, one of the best spots to observe the park's big cats during this time of year. All meals will be provided at your camp/lodge (FB).
Day 5: Another Full Day Serengeti
Spend a full day in Serengeti National Park, enjoying a picnic lunch. In the late afternoon, return to your camp for an overnight stay (FB).
Day 6: Serengeti to karatu.
After breakfast, check out from your camp and enjoy game viewing en route to Karatu, with picnic lunches along the way. Arrive for dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel (FB).
Day 7: KARATUI Manyara Park TO ARUSHA Airport-ZANZIBAR
After breakfast, drive to Manyara National Park for a game drive. Later, return to Arusha to be transferred to Arusha airport for your flight to Zanzibar.
Day 8: ZANZIBAR - STONE TOWN Full day Zanzibar
After breakfast, optionof Stone town tour OR Leisure, you can arrange with the hotel.
Day 9: STONE TOWN to Beach Hotel
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and transfer to the beach hotel for dinner and an overnight stay. This package is all-inclusive.
Day 10: DEPARTURE
You'll find plenty of activity options here that you can arrange directly with the hotel. All meals will be provided at the hotel.
Day 11: Full day in Zanzibar
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and prepare for your transfer to Zanzibar airport for your flight back.
