Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Nairobi Kenya
–The Boma Hotel. 45 min - 14km

Upon arrival at Nairobi International Airport, you'll be greeted by your Driver/Guide and our representative. You'll then be transferred to the traditional Nairobi BOMA Hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure, with your stay booked on a bed and breakfast basis (BB).

Day 2: The Boma and Nairobi Excursions.

  • Morning breakfast and have a full day tour of Nairobi.
  • 0900 Hrs. Visit Giraffe Centre
  • 1100 Hrs. Check in at Baby Elephant /Daphne Sheldrick Orphanage
  • 1230 Hrs. Lunch (This is at Extra cost)
  • 1430 Hrs. Visit the Kazuri Beads and Bomas of Kenya Cultural home 
  • 1700 Hrs.Drive back to hotel. Booked on bed and breakfast basis, BB
Day 3: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

At 0800hrs, after breakfast, you will be picked up for a short journey to Nairobi National Park. Your wildlife safari will be in the comfort of a private pop-top 4×4 vehicle, departing from and returning to your Nairobi city area hotel.

Upon arriving at Nairobi National Park, you'll quickly notice how unique this reserve is. Within sight of the city's skyline, you can spot lions, rhinos, giraffes, buffaloes, cheetahs, hyenas, zebras, and much more.

Though downtown Nairobi is just a few miles away, this is no city zoo or theme park. The animals roam freely in the wild, by the thousands. The park even hosts the annual East Africa migration of wildebeest and zebra, moving across the grassy plains and through acacia bushes Located just 10 km south of Nairobi, this park is Kenya's oldest (established in 1946) and one of its smallest, yet sightings of lions and hyenas are common. During your tour with Natural World Kenya Safaris, you'll have the chance to see endangered rhinos, hippos, ostriches, and over 400 species of birds.

At 1200hrs, return to your hotel in the city for lunch on your own account and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure..

Day 4: Amboseli National Park

Depart from Wilson Airport at 13:10hrs and arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) at 14:10hrs. Connect to your flight to Serengeti, which departs JRO at 15:45hrs and arrives at Kogatende Airstrip at 17:45hrs. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your Tanzanian native driver guide and an excellent 4x4 vehicle, rebuilt for a comfortable safari experience. Your game drives will start right from the airstrip, leading you towards your lodge/camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Serengeti, Africa's largest national park, is renowned for its abundant wildlife and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The park is famous for the great annual migration of over 1.5 million wildebeests and zebras, accompanied by numerous carnivores. It is also home to cheetahs, lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants, wildebeests, hartebeests, topis, elands, crocodiles, Thomson's and Grant's gazelles, and many more. Bird species include the kori bustard, ostrich, secretary birds, and various migrant birds from Eurasia.

Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at a Serengeti lodge, booked on a full board basis (FB).

Day 5 & 6: Two full days game drives in Serengeti Mara River.

Begin your day with breakfast at your lodge, followed by both morning and afternoon game drives in Northern Serengeti Park, near the Mara River, to potentially witness the migration crossing. All meals and an overnight stay at the camp are included, booked on a full board basis (FB).

Day 7: Serengeti – to - Ngorongoro Conservation.

After breakfast at your lodge, check out at 0800hrs and travel while spotting game en route through Central Serengeti (Seronera). Continue to exit the park at Naabi Gate and proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation. Arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon, where you'll enjoy a delicious dinner and an overnight stay, booked on a full board basis (FB).

Day 8: Full day Ngorongoro Crater tour.

Begin your day with an early breakfast at 0600hrs, then drive to the crater entry point and descend into the crater floor with picnic lunches for a full day of game drives. Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world's largest intact calderas, offers spectacular sights. The Big Five—rhino, lion, leopard, buffalo, and elephant—along with zebra, hippo, wildebeest, hyena, and more inhabit this incredible caldera. Birdlife includes flamingos on the soda lake, geese, storks, vultures, and more. Enjoy your lunch at the picnic site in the crater at Ngoitokitok swamp, a hippo pool. After lunch, continue game viewing, and at 1600hrs, ascend from the crater for dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge, booked on a full board basis (FB).

Day 9: Half day Crater tour

Wake up at 0600hrs and descend into the crater with your breakfast box. Enjoy a morning game drive in the Crater. At 1200hrs, ascend the crater for lunch at your lodge and spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Your vehicle is at your disposal, allowing you to take a ride in the conservation area, visit a Maasai Village, or go on a walk with an armed ranger guide. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge, booked on a full board basis (FB).

Day 10: Ngorongoro - to – Ruaha National Park.

Collect your breakfast box and transfer to Lake Manyara airstrip, where you can enjoy breakfast. Your flight to Ruaha departs at 08:20hrs and arrives at JRO airport at 11:30hrs. There, you'll be met by your driver guide and transferred to your lodge for lunch. After some relaxation, depart at 16:00hrs for afternoon game drives. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 11 & 12:Full days Game drives in Ruaha National Park.

After breakfast, dedicate the day to exploring Ruaha National Park. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives to spot roan and sable antelope, hippos, crocodiles, waterbuck, reedbuck, and buffalo, who venture to the river's edge to drink and attract lions, leopards, hyenas, wild dogs, jackals, and many other antelopes, including dik-diks. Your adventure also includes a walk in the wilderness to visit one of Africa's most important historical sites, the Stone Age ruins at Isimila. The park is home to numerous birds, including Eurasian migrants that visit twice a year. All meals and an overnight stay at the lodge are included.

Day 14 & 15: Full day Game drives in Selous Game Reserve (Now Nyerere National Park)

Wake up at 0600hrs for an early morning game drive in Selous Game Reserve at sunrise. Keep in mind that Selous is larger than Switzerland and Denmark and boasts the largest elephant population in Tanzania, along with numerous buffalo, hippos, and wild dogs. You'll also encounter lions, elands, bushbucks, giraffes, impalas, baboons, zebras, crocodiles, greater kudus, and perhaps even the rare sable antelope. Enjoy a boat excursion on the Rufiji River in the morning or evening. In the evening, return to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 16: Fly Selous - to Stone Town in Zanzibar Island

After breakfast at 0800hrs, check out and embark on a morning game drive towards the airstrip. Your flight departs from Selous at 12:50hrs and arrives in Zanzibar at 14:50hrs. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to Stone Town, where you will check in to your hotel, booked on a bed and breakfast basis (BB).

Day 17 - 23: R & R in Pemba Island.

After breakfast, head to Zanzibar airport at 10:00am for your flight to Pemba Island, departing at 11:25am and arriving at 11:55am. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your resort for a leisurely 7-night stay. Various water sports can be arranged for your enjoyment.

Day 24: Depart from Pemba to JRO Airport

  • Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
