Experience Highlights
As the sun rises, the symphony of bird songs wakes you. Walking with Maasai warriors, you’ll see lion tracks and fresh zebra droppings near the watering hole. You’ll pause to watch a group of giraffes standing elegantly among tall acacia trees along the Lolera River.
They gaze curiously at you and the Maasai warriors before regrouping and running across the river. On your return to camp, you’ll stop at a Maasai village to enjoy traditional Maasai chai with your guides. Your day concludes with a breathtaking sunset disappearing into the vast African landscape—a timeless, perfect moment. This unforgettable experience will stay with you forever.
Full Itinerary
Day 1: A Warm Welcome to Maasailand
Arriving at Maasai Eco Boma Lodge, you will be greeted with a traditional Maasai welcome featuring singing and dancing. If time allows, explore the community’s sustainable development projects, including a Maasai School, permaculture, beehive initiatives, women’s enterprises, and a community healer. For dinner and overnight, enjoy a delicious traditional meal prepared by our gifted chef at Maasai Eco Boma Lodge.
After breakfast, head out early to Tarangire National Park for a full day game drive with picnic lunches provided. Named after the river that winds throught it, Taranire boasts diverse wildlife and high concentrations of elephants. Wth over 550 bird specied, it’s a haven for birdwatchers. This park is a true gem, perfect to explore before dinner and an overnight stay at Maasai Ecom Boma Lodge.
Day 3: The Natural Wonder – Ngorongoro Crater
