Medical Clinic
Medical Care improved in 2024.

Historically, access to quality medical care has been geographically and financially out of reach for the Maasai people of Makuyuni, Tanzania however 2024 saw the development of a small walk-in outpatient health clinic for the local Maasai community. The clinic has been stocked with medical supplies and instruments, and newly hired medical officer Baraka is overseeing and assisting with basic medical care including: medical assessments and referrals, wound management, maternal health, vaccine administration, respiratory infection control, and more.

While providing basic medical care, the clinic also features health education and awareness for patients with a focus on prevention rather than treatment.
